Will These 2 Reality Stars Be Able To Share The Stage?

In a city who's size doesn't compare favorably to some of the Country's bigger markets, it now claims 2 of the bigger personalities the western world has to offer. This City's team, The Cincinnati Bengals already calls a man who changed his last name to coordinate with his uniform number one of their own. Will adding another who's in his second season of a reality show be the right move? With Ocho Cinco and T.O. now sharing the same sideline will they prove to be a dangerous combination or will these 2 ego maniacs be unable to co exist. As news spread last night that the T.O. show will now be broadcasting from the 45202, it didn't surprise me as the Cincinnati Bengals organization has shown time and time again it's a forgiving franchise, and one willing to take chances. Guys with checkered past are always welcome to wear Bengal stripes. Guys like Adam Jones, Matt Jones, and Cedric Benson all share a locker room as much as they share a common component, a criminal record. To T.O.'s credit, though his history gained him equal publicity it was for a far much more different reason as his flamboyant persona has never been linked to any criminal activity. Though T.O.'s landing in Cincy wasn't very surprising news, I was surprised it took this long to become reality. Many people forget that it was Ocho Cinco who campaigned for Terrell at the start of free agency and with Terrell's presence in the city for a visit many speculated it was only a matter of time before T.O. and Chad could call themselves teammates. The Bengals chose to go in a different direction and instead signed free agent WR Antonio Bryant to fill the role left vacant by TJ Houshmanzadeh as they're previous signing of Laveranues Coles failed to fill that void. As I said then, the signing of Antonio Bryant was a huge mistake as I felt he was vastly overrated and felt the better option was Terrell Owens. In Antonio's 8 years in the league he's managed to pull off 2 1,000 yard seasons and has basically been an average player for much of his career. Antonio had 1 good season 2 years ago and has been able to ride those statistics to this reputation of being a formidable number 2 option, when in fact he's more of third receiver or fourth on a team with depth at wide receiver. Truth is, I thought the Bengals made the wrong decision then and with yesterday's signing of T.O. maybe the Bengals feel the same way now. I also feel Terrell has just enough left in the tank to have a solid year and give the Cincinnati Bengals a legitimate 1-2 punch. This of course brings me back to my original statements, because in this "punch" who's number 1 and who is number 2? What makes the union of Ocho Cinco and Ocho Ono so interesting is the fact that if that question is asked too many times in that locker room it could put in danger this whole thing. Maybe the Bengals front office realized this possibility making Antonio, who's certainly a C player, a better option for their group. With Antonio lining up across Ocho Cinco everybody knows their role, but with T.O.'s huge ego now in that locker room are those role's threatened? Just minutes ago it was reported that Terrell was able to get his 81 uniform number from the former owner of that jersey. That owner, of course being Antonio Bryant, who now knows his role. Usually if you're able to question who's your number 1 receiver, it's a good problem to have but with these 2 super Divas it may not be. Actually, I think it works in a big way.
