WEATHER BLOG: Summer Continues

Labor Day is over, and now we" get back to it." Meh.

So I come into work this morning and I see a weather graphic that says, "HEAT WAVE!!" Really? Well technically with a high of 91, and a normal of 81, 10 above normal, I guess you could say heat wave and flee into the weather bunker. But let's get real we have seen a lot worse. To me this shows a real change beginning to happen as Fall makes an appearance on the horizon. A MONTH AGO WE WOULD HAVE, WITH THE SAME NUMBER SPREAD, BEEN LOOKING AT LIKE 95 TO 100! (Ewww all caps…) But now that 10 above just takes us to a reasonably hot late Summer day.

Tomorrow with a pretty stout cold front chugging through expect mid Summer like t-storms as a big new seasonal air mass dives into the Mid Atlantic. And behind it some great weather with highs in the upper 70's to low 80's will define our weekend. Sweet!

That will make the return to work, knowing we have a short work week, a bit easier for ya!
