WEATHER BLOG: Mundane Monday

Good evening, well it turned into a relatively mundane Monday in the region with actual temperatures above normal for a change. On Tuesday we do expect very similar temperatures and then look for some increasing clouds later in the day. We have been tracking a piece of energy that will impact the area on Wednesday with the threat of some wintery precipitation. Some areas will see only rain, but some will see some wet snow as well. while other areas will have a light mix. These events are very hard to pin down until they are on out doorstep, so lets wait a while longer before we are totally ready to commit to an exact forecast, but does appear that some areas especially north of Baltimore may see an inch or so of wet snow. We do expect to see the temperature rise above freezing, which will help to mitigate any major issues, hopefully.
