WEATHER BLOG: Isolated Shower Possible
Mid and low-level clouds are beginning to approach the area this afternoon and will continue to lower and thicken tonight as a shortwave and quick-moving area of low pressure pass by well off to our north and west over the Great Lakes late tonight and early tomorrow. An isolated shower will be possible both tonight and on Sunday… however, most areas will end up staying dry. Drier air will start to push into the area during the afternoon, allowing for some sunshine to make a return and it will be turning milder as winds shift out of the west-southwest. The next feature to watch will be low pressure near the western Gulf Coast. This low will travel eastward and by Monday bring rain to much of the southeast.
