WEATHER BLOG: Ice & Rain

Hi Everyone,

A bad scene this AM with ice everywhere. Forget moving around until about 10 AM to be honest. Air temps rise but the temperature of the ground, where the number really counts, lags behind an hour or so. (Inotherwords it may be 35, but on the ground it may be 31). Add to that problem rain moving into the region and we have had a tough, (to say the very least), day start.

Now we see a bunch of calm and seasonally mild weather moving our way. To be honest I want to bring up the weekend right now because it appears to be so FINE! How about clouds, and sun, with a high of 60 on Saturday. And on Sunday sunny with a high of 55. Does that work for ya?

Looking at the longer range, which is always subject to some change just do to the Earth itself, we still don't see any Winter-like foul weather headed our way. That forecast btw will take us to the end of the month and, at that point,  just 3 weeks from the start of Spring.

Slowly but surely…today's temps and the end of Winter.
