WEATHER BLOG: Fall's 1st Nor'easter
The weather pattern will be deteriorating this afternoon and evening as fall's first nor'easter moves up the Atlantic Seaboard. Rain is estimated to arrive in the Baltimore-metro area as early as 6 to 8 p.m. this evening. The heaviest rain will move in overnight. A flood watch is in effect for the greater Baltimore region this evening through late tonight. An estimated 1 to 2 inches of rain is forecast to fall, but locally higher amounts are possible. Rain is expected to taper off by Thursday afternoon as the weak low pressure system pulls away from the coast.
