WEATHER BLOG: Cold Front

As anticipated, a cold front moved through late yesterday/early last night without causing very much precipitation at all... Now, we're watching the thermometer very closely early this morning.

With a decent amount of sunshine and an active breeze, highs will be in the lower 60s this afternoon. This much cooler weather pattern will last into tomorrow, as a high pressure system slides across the Northeast's interior. Lows tonight will be in the 30s in the typically colder spots, and the 40s in most of the larger cities.

Highs tomorrow, for the most part, will be in the 50s. Increasing clouds are expected later tomorrow ahead of the next cold front, which should produce a couple of spotty showers very late tomorrow night and early on Sunday.

As long as there is some clearing on Sunday afternoon, most temperatures should experience a bit of an 'uptick', reaching the mid-60s. But then Monday and Tuesday should be somewhat cooler ahead of our anticipated rain during midweek.
