Third Man Convicted In Slaying At Towson Town Center
TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- A third man has been convicted of murder in the shooting death of a teenager outside an upscale department store at a Baltimore County mall.
A jury convicted Tyrone Brown, 21, Wednesday of first-degree murder in the December 2011 slaying of 19-year-old Rodney Pridget.
Prosecutors say Brown was the triggerman in Pridget's death and that he followed the teen through Towson Town Center mall and shot him six times just after he left the building.
Two other men, William Ward and Frank Williams, were previously convicted of first-degree murder for orchestrating the killing. Both were sentenced to life without parole.
Prosecutors said the killing was intended as revenge for the robbery and shooting of Williams' cousin.
