Teen Drowns In Lake Linganore
NEW MARKET, Md. (WJZ) -- An 18-year-old has drowned in Lake Linganore.
It happened Friday afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m.
Police say that he was swimming with friends when he apparently became fatigued and disappeared under the water. Water rescue crews and divers searched for him for four hours before finding him at 7:45 p.m.
He was identified as Andrew Dantzler.
