Suspect Injured In Officer-Involved Shooting
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A suspect was injured from a gunshot wound to the leg after being shot by police.
According to police, officers attempted to stop a car in the 12-hundred block of Turpin Lane late Saturday night.
The driver---who was armed---ran and officers pursued him.
An officer shot that suspect in the leg.
The suspect sustained non-life threatening injuries; police say he will face charges once he is released from the hospital.
None of the officers were injured.
The officers are on administrative duty, pending the outcome of an investigation.
