Suspect In Custody After Firing At Police, Barricade Situation
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A suspect is in custody after firing at police and briefly barricading himself inside a building on Fremont Avenue.
According to police, patrols were increased in that area after the death of a 13-year-old. While two officers were patrolling, they found a man armed with two guns.
That man fired at police, who shot back. The suspect was not injured and fled to the roof of a building on Fremont.
The suspect surrendered later. He faces charges, police say.
