State Considering New Tolling Options To Cut Costs For Drivers
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- The State of Maryland will consider new tolling options to save you money.
Gov. Hogan said drivers will save more than $28 million over the next five years.
Those savings will be achieved by a new pay-by-plate option. It will allow tolls to be automatically billed to credit cards.
New vehicle classifications will also lower toll rates for some cars.
The MDTA Board still has to vote on the proposals before they can take effect.
