Special Edition Natty Boh Can Released In Honor Of Baltimore Restaurant Owner

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore business owner is honored in a unique way. Businessman "Scunny" McCusker, the owner of Nacho Mama's, died last year.

Kai Jackson reports now iconic beer Natty Boh is honoring McCusker in a special way.

As the longtime owner of Nacho Mama's in Canton Square, Patrick "Scunny" McCusker was famous for his big personality.

"He was a larger than life guy, a fun guy," said Robin Stevenson.

"The guy was a legend. He was fun and giving and caring all the time," a friend said.

McCusker's sudden death in August last year stunned family and friends. His love for Baltimore was legendary, and now a Charm City icon has bestowed an honor on Scunny McCusker showing just how much Baltimore loved him.

"He was very proud where he was from and tried to make a difference," a friend said.

Wednesday Natty Boh released a special edition can emblazoned with Scunny's name, and a statement that pays tribute to McCusker's commitment to Baltimore.

"Just like Scunny, the can's not just about him, it's about his message," a friend said.

The Scunny can will be available at his two restaurants, Nacho Mama's and Mama's on the Half Shell.
