Water Being Restored To Residents After Main Break
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Water is starting to flow to hundreds of East Baltimore residents who have been without water since Saturday as repairs have been made to a broken main.
Department of Public Works officials said Tuesday afternoon that crews have been charging the main.
Workers initially believed the 20-inch main in the 1600-block of East Lombard Street was repaired early Monday, but three small water service lines broke when water started to flow through the repaired main.
