Second Suspect Charged In Essex Homicide

ESSEX, Md. (WJZ)—Police in Baltimore County have made a second arrest in connection to the death of a man back on December 30, 2015.

Police responded to a home on Sparton Drive, in Essex, where 78-year-old B.G. Ledford died from multiple stab wounds.

46-year-old Daniel Albert Atkinson Jr. was charged with first degree murder earlier this week for his involvement in the crime.

Friday morning, police announced the arrest of a second suspect, 50-year-old Lisa Annette Kuczinski.

Police say Kuczinski went to the home with Atkinson Jr. the night Ledford was killed.

She is also facing charges of first degree murder.

Kuczinski remains behind bars without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
