Schools In Southern Md. Remain Closed After Irene
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Schools in areas of southern Maryland that were hit hard by Hurricane Irene are still closed.
All schools in Calvert and St. Mary's counties will be closed Wednesday. In Anne Arundel County, about 15 schools remained closed.
In Howard County, all schools were open with the exception of Atholton High School.
One school in Prince George's County, Glenarden Woods Elementary School, was also closed.
