Samsung Issues Safety Concern Over Top Load Washers

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Another consumer warning from Samsung... this time about concerns over a washing machine.

The company says there are active discussions regarding potential safety issues related to certain top-load washing machines.

The affected units were manufactured between March 2011 and April 2016.

"In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant items," said Samsung.

The company says they are working on a remedy for affected consumers that will help ensure there are no further incidents.
