Report: Lexington Market Could See $26.7M Overhaul
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)-- A major, multi-million dollar overhaul of Lexington Market would transform it into one of the 'finest public markets in the country'.
The plan is spelled out in a new report commissioned by the city.
According to our media partner The Baltimore Sun, a $26.7 million renovation would include an upgraded building, a focus on fresh food and an outdoor farmers market.
There's no timeline and no designated source of funding yet, but the mayor is said to be committed.
