Prince Harry visits award-winning Baltimore restaurant

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, made a visit to an award-winning Baltimore restaurant this week.

Chef Cindy Wolf, co-owner of Charleston, posted a photo of the prince on social media, with the caption, "Thankful to have had the chance to cook for him at Charleston."

Prince Harry was in the Washington, D.C. region this week for the International Association of Privacy Professionals' global summit and led a workshop on Monday featuring 60 students, according to our partners at The Baltimore Banner

Charleston is a nationally recognized fine dining restaurant. It won a James Beard Award in 2025 for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program. The restaurant had been named as a finalist for the award at least eight other times before the win.

The restaurant is located in Baltimore's Harbor East neighborhood and is co-owned by Tony Foreman, who oversees multiple other restaurants in the region.

The menu at Charleston features a mix of French and Southern cuisine, which it says attracts both local and international palates.

The restaurant was previously named Maryland's most romantic by the food blog, The Daily Meal.

In September 2019, Grammy-award-winning singer Katy Perry visited the restaurant.
