Power Outage Closes Md.'s McDaniel College
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- McDaniel College in Westminster says it is closed due to a power outage.
A college spokeswoman said Monday that a transformer failure on Sunday caused a loss of power to most campus buildings.
She says repairs have begun but officials aren't sure when power will be restored.
The private, liberal-arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of about 1,600.
