Possible Gas Leak Reported At Country Inn & Suites In Golden Ring Area
ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Fire Department reported a possible gas leak at a Country Inn Sunday afternoon.
County fire said hotel management reported the smell of gas around 3 p.m coming from the first floor, near a newly installed water heater.
14 rooms had to be evacuated while officials worked with BGE to air out the building.
Some people staying in the hotel who were inside at the time said they never smelled gas but quickly grabbed everything and ran outside when they heard the fire alarm.
Fire crews requested two additional fire engines for extended operation.
No injuries reported at this time.
