Police Seek Man Charged With Assaulting Teen Holding Infant

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Police in Annapolis are searching for a man they say assaulted a teenage girl holding her 3-month-old child after an argument over a cellphone.

The Capital reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Scotty Moss of Annapolis, charging him with assault and auto theft.

Police say officers were called Wednesday night to Bernita Nick Way, where a 17-year-old girl said Moss punched her in the face repeatedly, threw her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach -- all while she held her 3-month-old child.

After the attack, police say Moss fled in the teen's Infiniti with Maryland tags 2CA9398.
