Police ID Victim Killed In E. Baltimore Double Shooting, Crash
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--Police are continuing their investigation into Thursday's double shooting and car crash in East Baltimore.
Police say the incident started off as a shooting in the 700 block of Eden Street Thursday afternoon. Sometime following the shooting incident police responded to a three-car crash in the 1200 block of Orleans Street.
At the scene, two people are found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a white pickup truck. One of the victims, identified as Andre Clark Jr., was transported to the hospital where he later died, police said. The other victim inside the truck was also transported, their condition is still unknown.
"Officers respond for a report of an accident. When they get there, they discover two individuals got shot. I can tell you, right now, upon looking into the vehicle, we did find weapons inside the vehicle. We don't know right now how they relate to this particular incident, but we do have weapons that were inside that vehicle," said a police spokesperson.
The drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the collision were not injured.
Investigators are continuing their investigation, anyone with any information is asked to call police.
