Operation "Hon" Shows People How Some Marylanders Go Without Heat, Power During Winter
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Fuel Fund of Maryland said thousands of Maryland residents go without heat or power in their homes during the winter.
Operation "Hon" offered people the chance to experience what that is like.
"Hon" stands for "Heat on Now."
Organizers created an ice house and collected donations. The money will go toward helping people who struggle to pay their home energy bills during times of financial crisis.
