On July 4, Md. Wildlife Center Reports Injured Bald Eagle Returned To Wild
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- As a special Independence Day treat, the Owl Moon Raptor Center in Boyds, Maryland, has reported that a bald eagle it took in in March has been released back into the wild.
The experts at the rehab facility believe "Trust" was hit by a car on River Road in Potomac, Maryland.
"I am pleased to report that Trust recovered fully from her fractured coracoid, and is once more flying free over the Potomac River," the center posted in the early morning hours of July 4.
Happy Independence Day, Trust! Wherever you are, we hope your shoulder feels better.
