New Mural Brings Life To Riot-Torn Community
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--A new mural overlooks the Sandtown neighborhood where the April riots occurred earlier this year.
The latest addition to the Art at Work program is at the Arch Social Club on Pennsylvania and North Avenues.
The 30-foot mural was painted by a local artist.
It features legendary jazz songstress Billie Holiday as well as Ta-nehisi Coates, a West Baltimore author.
