WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State police have charged a Westminster man with more than 50 traffic offenses after he allegedly led troopers on a chase. 

Steven Goodhart, 48, was arrested after Monday's incident. 

According to court documents, a trooper tried to pull over a pickup truck near the Carroll County Landfill, but the driver didn't stop. 

Court documents say the driver narrowly missed hitting the trooper when he drove past him on a dead-end road. 

The documents state the truck continued on several roads, striking a Carroll County Sheriff's Office patrol car and state police car. 

The truck eventually got stuck in a snowy field.
