Maryland Weather: Mostly Sunny With A Cool Breeze
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Our Thursday has turned out to be bright and blustery.
Northwest winds are once again between 15-20 miles per hour, packing 30-mph gusts.
The winds do calm a bit this evening, but things will still be breezy.
Highs near 60° will only feel like the mid 50s thanks to the blustery conditions.
A Freeze Watch is in effect late Thursday night through 9 a.m. Friday as temperatures are expected to drop as low as 31°.
With that in mind, take steps to protect your plants and pipes before you go to bed tonight.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne's, Caroline and Talbot counties through 10 p.m.
Strong winds and low humidity have created critical fire weather conditions. All outdoor burning is discouraged.
Sunshine sticks around for Friday and temperatures make their way into the mid 60s.
We'll see more blue skies on Saturday and temperatures nudge up to around 68°.
A chance for rain returns on Sunday but it's limited to the late afternoon and evening hours so we are good to go for the Brigance Brigade!
