Maryland Ranked Second Best State To Be A Police Officer, Study Says
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A new study from Wallet-Hub says Maryland is the second-best state to be a police officer.
The study looked at 27 factors in three areas; opportunity and competition, job hazards and protections, and quality of life.
Maryland had one of the highest scores for police protection expenses per capita.
New York ranked No. 1 while Louisiana came in last.
