Maryland Historical Society Holding Virtual Event To Mark 100th Anniversary Of Women's Suffrage
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- This week marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment giving the right to vote, and the Maryland Historical Society is marking the occasion with a special virtual program.
The free program, titled "Unlocking the Exhibition: The Women in Forgotten Fight," will run from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Members will discuss the forgotten women who fought for women's suffrage.
