Man Whose Body Was Found In Park Was Victim Of Homicide
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a man whose remains were found in a park in Gaithersburg was the victim of a homicide.
Officers say people taking part in a managed hunt in the Great Seneca Stream Valley Park found the remains about 10:40 a.m. Saturday. Police say the remains were in a shallow grave.
The remains were taken to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore. Officials said on Monday that man suffered to his upper body and the death was ruled a homicide.
Detectives are working to identify the man and determine how long he's been dead.
