Man Found Fatally Shot In Silver Spring
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a man was fatally shot while walking in Silver Spring.
Officers say 24-year-old Jonathan Lopez of Brentwood was walking near Piney Branch Road and Dale Drive about 8:25 p.m. Monday.
Authorities say a man approached Lopez, shot him and ran away.
Lopez was taken to a local hospital, where he died early Tuesday.
