Man Found Dead Was Stabbed While With Friends, Body Moved

EDEN, Md. (AP) -- Court documents show a 22-year-old, whose body was found on a rural roadside, was fatally stabbed.

Police say Damon Jennings was missing for two weeks before his body was found on Friday in Eden. He was last seen on Oct. 15 with friends.

Authorities say Elijah Carroll and Jazzmine Morton are charged with first-degree murder. A third person, Kevin Nixon, is charged with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder. It isn't clear if they have attorneys.

Nixon told police that he saw Carroll stab Jennings in the Eastern Shore. He then helped Carroll move the body into a wooded area.

Police say Nixon and Morton returned to dispose of the body at a roadside in Eden on Oct. 25.

Authorities say they don't know the motive for the killing.
