BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 26-year-old Baltimore woman is being held without bond following a bail review in the case of the city's first homicide of 2021.
Lakeyria Doughty, known for her role in the HBO Max film "Charm City Kings," appeared in court Monday on a number of charges, including first-degree murder and assault, in the New Year's Day stabbing of her girlfriend, 33-year-old Tiffany Wilson.
Around 4:15 a.m. Friday, police officers went to a home in the 1200 block of North Stricker Street for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found Wilson had been stabbed in the chest.

According to charging documents, Wilson was trying to break up with Doughty. A text message conversation led to a physical fight, during which Doughty stabbed Wilson.
Wilson died from her injuries, officials said.
Thessa Burke said she knew Wilson, calling her a "good girl" who didn't deserve to die.
"You come back to your old hood to see old friends and you hear about this happening, that girl did not deserve this," Burke said.
Another area resident told WJZ off-camera Wilson left behind a young child.
The first weekend of 2021 saw six shootings and the deadly stabbing. In total, there were three homicides over the weekend.
No arrests have been made in the other two homicides.
City Council President Nick Mosby addressed the violent start to the new year.
"We have to do a much better job at providing opportunities for our young folks, and that's what we are going to be focused on," Mosby said.
Doughty was featured in the HBO Max film for her skills on a dirt bike.
