K9 With Carroll County Sheriff's Department Receives Bulletproof Vest
WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- A K9 with the Carroll County Sheriff's Department is getting new equipment to keep him safe on the job.
'Chouffe' received a bullet and stab-protective vest. It was given by the non-profit Vested Interest in K9s and sponsored by a family in Westminster.
The lab is certified in explosives and protects the county courthouse and grounds.
