BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- At least one person was injured in a crash on Interstate 83 in Baltimore County Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The crash happened on northbound I-83 near Ruxton Road and the interchange with I-695. The Baltimore County Fire Department said one person was trapped and crews were trying to extricate them.

At least one person was injured, the Baltimore County Police Department tweeted. The extent of their injuries isn't clear.

I-83 has since reopened.
