I-95 N Reopens After Truck Carrying Pineapples Catches Fire
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Interstate 95 has reopened northbound after a truck carrying pineapples caught fire.
Maryland State Police confirmed two tractor-trailers were involved in an accident on I-95 northbound at 195 and I-695.
One person has minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The accident also caused a hole on the bridge. Bridge inspectors inspected the scene and made any necessary repairs.
The incident was near the exit for BWI as Labor Day weekend begins and heavy delays are expected.
Motorists should take 295 as an alternate route, as some delays remain.
