Head Of Baltimore Police Training Division Resigns
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The head of Baltimore's police training division has abruptly resigned.
Police say John King--hired six months ago by Commissioner Fred Bealefeld--stepped down because of a personnel issue.
But King tells WJZ's media partner at the Baltimore Sun he was let go because the new acting police commissioner wants to "go in a different direction" with the department.
