Hagerstown Man Dies After Fiery, 2-Car Crash
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- One man is dead and four people are recovering after a fiery crash in a residential Hagerstown neighborhood.
The Herald-Mail reports Norman Frazier, 25, of Hagerstown died Monday morning at Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Frazier was driving a Dodge Neon that took off suddenly after it was stopped for speeding on Route 64 just east of Hagerstown at about 6 p.m. Sunday.
A police spokeswoman and eyewitnesses say the Neon hit an oncoming car, struck a utility pole and then burst into flames.
She says a man, a woman and two children in the other car were treated locally for minor injuries.
