Frederick County Sheriff's Department Investigates Attempted Armed Robbery

FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) -- The Frederick County Sheriff's department is investigating an armed robbery in the 83-hundred block of Discovery Boulevard.

According to officials, two men approached a third man and demanded money at gunpoint. The victim was able to get away without giving them anything. The suspects fled the area on foot.

The first suspect is described as a black man between 18-25 and 5'6" and 5'8" with short to medium length twist-style hair. He has a skinny build and a medium complexion with a teardrop tattoo under his eye. He was wearing a blue jean jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers with white laces. This suspect had a silver handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black man between 18 and 25. He's between 5'4" and 5'6" with short, black hair. He has a medium build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black jacket, black exercise pants with white stripes and black shoes. He had a black handgun.
