Fatal Accident Shuts Down I-695 Overnight
ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) -- A fatal accident in Baltimore County is under investigation.
It happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday on the outer loop of I-695 prior to Windsor Mill Road.
Police say 24-year-old Kevin Meehan of Perry Hall somehow lost control of his vehicle, striking a tree.
His SUV became wedged between the tree and sound barrier wall.
Meehan was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's unknown whether alcohol or any other substance contributed to the crash.
Traffic was shut down for more than three hours for the investigation.
