Dying Mother Of 5 Wishes For Disney Trip

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ)—A Baltimore mother diagnosed with stage four cancer has been told she has less than two years to live.

Tracey Leong spoke to the mother of five about her dying wish.

Tyrine Johnson, surrounded by love, is how she hopes to live out her final days.

"Less than two years, told us to prepare for less than one year as if the chemo doesn't work" said Tyrine Johnson.

This past December doctors told Johnson her breast cancer was terminal.

It had spread to her chest wall and left lung. First diagnosed in 2010, Johnson has endured multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy.

"Seeing her in pain and having to go through something like that is not easy," said Tyrine's mother.

Johnson's doctors recommending for her to quit her job and to spend more time with her family. Now, she's reaching out to the public to make her dying wishes come true.

"Walt Disney is the biggest you can get if you ask me. I look forward to doing that with all my kids under 11. I know I will remember for the rest of my life, and they will," said Johnson.

With this prognosis, the 30-year-old mother of five knows her time is limited and she wants to take her husband and kids on the trip of a lifetime. She also wants to have a photo shoot.

"To remember when I do start getting sick, what I looked like when I was healthy," said Johnson.

And her family, cherishing each moment they do have together.

"Celebrate her birthday every month, and have Sunday dinners, and create a lot of memories," said Tyrine's mother.

Johnson is hoping her story can serve as an inspiration.

"No matter what is going on, it's going to be oaky and you can still aspire to do anything you want," said Johnson.

If you would like to donate to help Tyrine Johnson, her family has set up a GoFund me page HERE.

The family is hoping to raise 8,500 to help with Tyrine's wishes.
