Child Struck & Killed By Marc Train Wednesday Afternoon
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A child was hit and killed by a MARC train, officials said Wednesday.
Officials said around 5 p.m. Wednesday, the train was traveling southbound from Penn Station when the child was struck while trespassing on the tracks before the West Baltimore MARC Station. The victim died from his injuries.
Officials said service has started to resume at reduced speeds near the West Baltimore Station. Significant delays are expected.
