Carroll Co. Officers Raise $9K On Dunkin' Donuts Roof
CARROLL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)--Police officers in Carroll County spent a lot of time at a Dunkin' Donuts today.
The officers weren't there for the bake goods either and get this, they spent the entire time on the roof!
"Cops On Rooftops" is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Maryland.
Officials vowed to spend the entire weekend on the roof until they raised $9,000.
And it worked! The group exceeded their goal by raising $9,500.
