I'm sorry I've been MIA but I took a day off because my mom is in town...

I returned to the Ravens today and there were no surprises on the injury front. First, as expected, CB Jimmy Smith - who is out for at least another three weeks - did not practice today. With that, the secondary is still a little thin, especially with Chris Carr (limited) nursing his sore hamstring. Right Guard Ben Grubbs also did not practice. He is suffering from a toe injury that forced him to sit out of the Ravens loss to the Titans on Sunday afternoon. WR Lee Evans, who is back in his walking boot, also sat out of practice and is likely to sit out of Sunday's game against the Rams due to his lack of reps at practice. And last, David Reed (shoulder) did not practice, and as previously reported, will be out for about three weeks.

There's your walking wounded. Could it be worse? Absolutely.
