BLOG: Nice Saturday, Wet Sunday

The overall weather forecast looks to stay on track for the viewing area. The nice weather that the region has been experiencing will continue for the rest of this upcoming morning. The next weather feature that will approach from the west will cause a hefty amount of precipitation later this afternoon and evening into Sunday. The system will affect a wide swath of the eastern United States. At this point, rainfall amounts will range between 1-2 inches across the viewing area. This storm for the most part will be a rainfall producer rather than producing much in the way of wind. The storm will begin to exit the area Monday and Tuesday looks to be dry. Then, dry weather will last into Wednesday. Another storm will approach around Thursday causing the chance for a shower or thunderstorm to occur.
