Balt. Co. 911 Operator Resigns After Facebook Scandal
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- The 911 operator at the center of a Facebook scandal has resigned from her job.
According to our media partner, the Baltimore Sun, Kelli Murray resigned January 9.
In December, she posted on Facebook that she would rather her son encounter thugs than police and that she feared for her son's safety.
The Fraternal Order of Police condemned those remarks and said that she should lose her job.
