BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A fatal three-vehicle crash closed down the inner loop of I-695 by exit 15A near U.S. 40 Baltimore National Pike northbound.

Around 8:35 a.m. Saturday, state police responded to 695 at Crosby Road where they learned a 2003 Buick Lesabre was traveling on the inner loop went off the road and struck the rear of a Nissan van, which was stopped on the right shoulder.

The Buick then struck a 2009 Chevy Silverado which was also stopped on the right shoulder with a flat tire.

Police say there has been at least one fatality but didn't release the name at this time.

The accident occurred in Baltimore County.
