29-Year-Old Dies In Hanover Crash On Route 100
HANOVER, MD. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a fatal crash early Tuesday morning in Hanover.
The crash happened just after 5 a.m. on Route 100 at I-295.
Police said the driver of a 2013 Honda Civic rammed into the back of a truck-tractor at high speeds.
The Honda driver, 29-year-old Jamie Avila, of Jessup, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are waiting for toxicology results.
