2 Medics Hurt In Accident Involving Ambulance
OXON HILL, Md. (WJZ) -- An accident involving an ambulance is under investigation in Prince George's County.
Police say a driver sideswiped the ambulance on I-495 in Oxon Hill. The ambulance struck a light pole.
Two medics were hurt. They are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the light pole the ambulance hit then went straight through a nearby car--just inches from the driver's head.
Miraculously, the driver walked away uninjured.
No word yet if the driver that struck the ambulance will face charges.
